About pAInter

What pAInter is, and how it's different from other AI image tools.

pAInter is a marketplace for AI generation and artist co-creation. Creators generate with artist-owned models and can commission the illustrators behind them.
For artists

Joining and managing your model

How artists opt in, set terms, and stay in control.

Yes. In Co-Create, artists set their own commission availability, services, and preferences — including whether they accept generated images as visual references. Artists are never required to accept any request, and they decide how they approach the final work.
For creators

Generating and using images

What you can do, and what rights come with each generation.

Yes. In Co-Create, creators can specify their AI involvement preference — including "Fully human-made final artwork," which asks the artist to create the final piece without generative AI assistance. The artist decides whether to accept that request.
Training & data

What data is used — and what isn't

Key facts about the base model, LoRA adaptation, and training data. See the full guide for step-by-step detail.

A LoRA is a smaller set of learned adjustments added to an existing image model. It helps the base model respond to a particular style or subject without rebuilding the full model from scratch. The original base model remains part of every generation.
Money & rights

Licensing & payouts

How artists get paid, and what creators are allowed to do with what they generate.

No. The license attached to a generated image applies only to that generated image. It does not automatically transfer to any commissioned artwork you request from the artist. Generation rights and commission rights are separate — the artist confirms the final price, usage rights, and creative process for commissioned work independently.
Trust & safety

Safety and misuse

How consent receipts work, and how pAInter limits misuse.

Artists can mark restricted categories — like adult content, political ads, gambling, or NFTs — that their model cannot be used for. In this prototype, these restrictions are recorded in the artist's settings. Automated prompt enforcement and account suspension are planned features not yet implemented.
